CAPS Drop-In Spaces

The CAPS Literary Salon: A Narrative Therapy Group, Tuesdays 4:15-5:15pm

Facilitated by Tamanna Rahman, psychiatric APRN and Jonathan Perlow, CAPS doctoral extern. Time to read & write with a therapeutic focus. Explore issues of identity, relationships, and emotional struggles by engaging with the written word. Each session we will watch a literary performance, discuss how it resonates with our own lives, then have a short freewriting session with time to share after. Meditation & Awareness Practice, Wednesdays 4:30-5:15pm

Join doctoral extern, Jonathan Perlow in gentle meditation instruction and guidance to empower participants to directly contact and connect with their own inherent wisdom. In post meditation we will explore bringing our awareness practice into social dynamics, as we move into a discussion space where students can share their own wisdom, ask questions, bring curiosities, and/or raise concerns. Drop-In FGLI Support Space

CAPS, in collaboration with The RC Socioeconomic Status and Disability Interns, is happy to offer a FGLI Drop-In Support Space!  This drop in support space was created to provide FGLI students with a space to seek support and voice whatever is on your mind.  Come connect with fellow FGLI students who can possibly relate and CAPS staff who will host the space and provide their support as well.

FGLI students are welcome to access the drop in space regardless the location, that includes remote students!

The FGLI Support Space meets 4:00-5:00pm on Fridays and is on a come-and-go as you please basis. We want students to feel comfortable coming in late or leaving early, CAPS is here for you and the FGLI community.

Virtual Math Workshop Now Available

The following information was provided by Prof. Adeboye from the Mathematics & Computer Science Department.

The Math Workshop is a free drop-in math tutoring service, operated by undergraduate and graduate students, that is available to all members of the Wesleyan community.

The Workshop is continuing in the online form that was initiated after spring break last year.

The hours for the “Virtual Math Workshop” are:

Monday – Friday 11:45 am – 12:45 pm

Sunday – Thursday 7 -10 pm

In Moodle, click on the “Course Reserve” or the “Resource List” link to get to course reserve materials. For non-Moodle courses, click on the “Course Reserve” link on the library homepage (https://www.wesleyan.edu/libr/research/coursereserve.html).
