How to Plan a Successful Student Event!

Student Activities and Leadership Development (SALD) will be hosting workshops this week and next to better help you plan events on campus.  We will walk you through Room Request (EMS) and the process of how to register a Social Event.  We will also answer any questions you have on budgeting, funding and advertising for your event.  If you have found the process confusing or overwhelming we strongly encourage you to attend one of the workshops below.  We’re here to help!

Workshop Dates:

Thursday, Sept. 28th, 5:30-6:30pm – Daniel Family Commons, Usdan 3rd floor

Wednesday, October 4th, 12:00-1:00pm – Usdan B25 (Multipurpose Room)

Friday, October 6th, 1:30-2:30pm – Usdan B25 (Multipurpose Room)

Student Activities Fair–DATE CHANGED to Sept. 22


I hope all is well as we all get through the second week of the add/drop period. Due to the unexpected weather forecast of rain and a thunderstorm, the WSA Administrative office has rescheduled the Student Group Fair to next Friday, September 22, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the Huss Courtyard.

Attached, you will also find a timeline that includes important dates for upcoming trainings provided by the WSA and WSA Administrative Office.
