New Student Groups Registration with the WSA — by March 10

Hello all,

For students forming new student groups this semester, please note that the deadline for registration is the first day of spring break (March 10th). To register your new student group, you can follow the directions on the Wesleyan Student Assembly Community Committee website here. In order to complete your registration, you must meet with a member of the Community Committee to review your petition, evaluate your mission statement, and receive training on OrgSync. In order to receive funding from the Student Budget Committee, you must follow these steps and receive approval.

If you are an existing student group that has not yet gone through the process of renewal this year, you also must meet with a member of the Community Committee to receive approval. As the Chair of the Community Committee, I will be holding drop-in hours on Fridays from 1:00-3:00 pm in the WSA Office, please email me, Emma Austin, at eaustin@wesleyan.edu to set up an appointment in advance.

If you have any questions regarding your student group, please don’t hesitate to reach out or come by my drop-in hours. Also be on the lookout for an email from the WSA Office denoting when financial trainings for student groups are. I hope the semester is off to a fabulous start!

Best, WSA Community Committee
